Founded in 2006, BloomPack began as a small operation with a big vision: to transform the packaging industry through sustainable practices. Situated on a 62,000 m2 site in Cairo, Egypt, we started with a team of passionate professionals, bringing together over 150 years of combined experience in packaging, carton design, printing, and manufacturing of corrugated carton.
From the outset, our commitment to sustainability and innovation fueled our rapid growth. We became one of the fastest-growing packaging manufacturers in Egypt and Africa, achieving double-digit growth rates year after year.
In April 2024, we signed a strategic partnership with Valmet, a leading Finnish company specializing in process technologies, automation, and services, and Omya, a global producer of industrial minerals and distributor of chemical products. This collaboration has allowed us to pioneer advancements in paper production, including the development of innovative coated white top liner grades that exceed industry standards. Working closely with Valmet and Omya, we have refined our processes and products through rigorous testing and continuous improvement, solidifying our position as a leader in the sustainable packaging industry.
At the core of this advancement stands BloomPack’s state-of-the-art paper mill, equipped with the highest production capabilities and advanced European technology. Powered by Valmet’s cutting-edge process solutions and enhanced by Omya’s expertise in coating materials, our facility is designed to deliver exceptional quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
The mill specializes in the production of coated White Top Liner, engineered to provide superior strength, smooth surface quality, and excellent printability. Through advanced coating technologies, precise automation, and strict quality control, BloomPack produces paper grades that meet and exceed international standards—offering premium performance and visual appeal for high-quality packaging applications.
